DO NOT BUY!

Buying this machine was a terrible mistake. After taking more than a month to get the thing delivered, it did seem easy to assemble. However, after using it for about a week it began making terrible sqeaking noises. I called the company several times before getting any response, and was told that my 90 day warranty was almost over since the shipping period counts in your warranty. OK, so they send a repair guy to my house who said everything just needed to be tightened since the tools they provide you with to assemble are not sufficient to tighten the machine with. Ummm, that's useful. The noise immediately disappeared and I did have about a month of easy use.

Then a louder noise began and all of a sudden one of the metal parts just completely broke at the point where the metal was welded. Now outside of my warranty, excellent. I paid $100 to get a replacement part. Worked again for a week before the squeaking noises started. And of course, a couple weeks after that, the replacement part broke. Now you would think that if 2 separate pieces broke in the exact same place, it must be something faulty with the machine. Doesn't matter as the machine is now outside the warranty and I'm stuck with a pile of junk that I've barely used since purchasing it. Save yourself the trouble and find a higher quality machine! Proform customer service is just terrible!

Huge waste of Money.

Bought this in January of 2012, took until Feb to get here. display quit working and they sent me new wires before the 90 day warranty was up. didn't use for several months then put new batteries in and the resistance didn't work. they told me to buy a resistance motor so I did. Just got it replaced and now the console smells like it is burning. called customer service and they want to charge me $245 for a new console!!! I might as well buy a new elliptical with all the money Ive spent on it so far. I bought this when it was brand new on the market and paid $900 for it, I feel like I really got screwed by proform and icon fitness.

Speaker is very scratchy

It arrived with broken pieces. Now it squeeks when I use it and the batteries don't last long. The speaker is Terrible when I plug it into the iPhone.
